Intelligence Operations Specialist

This position is located in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Office of Intelligence and Analysis. The primary duties performed in this position are:
Conducting and overseeing the collection of multi-source intelligence, focusing on the integration of local information into the national intelligence community priority framework. Ensuring collection requirements are shared with State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (SLTT) Government partners (as appropriate). Providing consultation for the dissemination of multi-source intelligence and other finished intelligence products. Promoting and performing the accessing, receiving, and reporting of federal and SLTT information in support of DHS Watchlisting efforts, in accordance with applicable law and policy. Creating, enabling, and maintaining trusted partnerships with public and private sector entities by providing two-way advocacies on issues of concern. GS-14:
Applicant must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 level in the Federal service that included:
Applying the principles of intelligence analysis, operations, and terrorist tactics to gather and evaluate intelligence information; Coordinating with State and Local partners to create an information-sharing environment; and Developing processes to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in terrorist operational tactics. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
