SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 5)

Organizational Structure:
This position is located in the ARNG HQ JFHQ, Director of Logistics (DOL), Logistics Management Office. Its purpose is to develop command logistics guidance and support plans for federal and state missions. As a SUPPLY MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST (TITLE 5), GS-2003-11, you will perform duties such as:
1. Formulates and implements the comprehensive logistics support plans, policies and logistics operations support, based on logistics data and requirements obtained from the JFHQ staff, units, USPFO, NGB and other organizations. 2. Develops, coordinates and implements policies, procedures and requirements for unit deployment, inter-service support agreements as approved by the USPFO, emergency support for civil authorities, training exercises support and environmental compliance. Ensures coordination between units, JFHQ staff, USPFO, NGB and other agencies on command logistics support requirements. Initiates equipment redistribution guidance. Responsible for operation of the logistics operations center to support JFHQ Emergency Operations Center for Federal and State missions. 3. Obtains data from the Unit Status Report and the Material Readiness Report to determine and improve logistics readiness. Consolidates all logistics readiness indicators to formulate an assessment of the command logistics readiness of the state. Develops the Equipment on Hand policy that directs the supply and services officer (DOL) to initiate equipment redistribution actions within the command. 4. Develops, staffs and implements logistics plans for material fielding, mission support and mobilization. Receives input from the Surface Maintenance Manager (SMM) regarding the Mission Support Plans to support the material fielding plan. Develops command requirements for new equipment training. Analyzes, directs and provides command logistics guidance to support CTA/TDA/MTOE changes and turn-in of command excess equipment to the USPFO. 5. Serves as the Information Systems/Automation Security Officer for the directorate, providing technical oversight throughout the shops and activities of the program. 6. Performs other duties as assigned. AREAS OF CONSIDERATION:

U.S. Citizens SPECIALIZED
Experience:
One year experience equivalent to a GS-09. Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the occupation in the organization. To qualify for this position, you must have:
A. One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-09 level in duties that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the position to be filled. OR B. A bachelor's degree and three years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to a Master's or equivalent degree. Such education must demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work. OR C. A combination of experience as described in A above and education as described in B above.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
