Physician (Primary Care - Clinical Telehealth)

The Primary Care Staff Physician will be supervised by the local Virtual PACT Practice Manager. The incumbent will have accountability to the clinical directors of Primary Care.The Primary Care Staff Physician has responsibility for providing primary care to a defined panel of primary care patients. The physician will provide direct patient care full time and work as a member of an expanded healthcare team (social worker, dietician, clinical pharmacist, behavioral health clinician, and a nurse care manager) to oversee and coordinate medical care for a population of Veterans in a group practice setting utilizing the Patient Aligned Care Team model. The incumbent is responsible to contribute to the achievement of quality of care standards, efficiency, process improvement and patient satisfaction within the Primary Care Division, in particular to the incumbent's assigned panel of Primary Care patients. The incumbent is expected to practice in accordance with professional standards, core values, and with a commitment to service excellence. Work Schedule:

United States Citizenship:

Degree of doctor of medicine or an equivalent degree resulting from a course of education in medicine or osteopathic medicine. The degree must have been obtained from one of the schools approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for the year in which the course of study was completed. Licensure:
Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine or surgery in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia. Residency Training:
Completion of residency training, or its equivalent, approved by the Secretary of Veterans Affairs in an accredited core specialty training program leading to eligibility for board certification. English Language:

Experience:
Board certified in Internal or Family Medicine. At lease one year of Internal or Family Medicine. Reference:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
