A bachelor's degree in human services or a field related to human services.ORA bachelor's degree unrelated to human services, and either:
1) One year of human services-related experience, OR2) Completion of coursework equivalent to certification consistent with Oregon caseworker competency.ORAn associate degree and either:
1) Two years of human services-related experience, OR2) One year of human services-related experience and related training, coursework or certification consistent with Oregon caseworker competency.A valid driver license and acceptable driving record are necessary for this position.Essential attributes:

Knowledge or skill with crisis intervention or conflict resolution techniques. Skill in defining and explaining complex rules and guidelines in a variety of settings. Skill in writing reports that include conclusions and recommended action. The ability to engage children and families under time-sensitive and difficult circumstances, to gather information and make informed decisions that are inclusive of the child and the family's language, race, and culture. Experience engaging and working with community partners and organizations. Collaboration as a team member to support resource parents, children, and youth. Responding to referrals and determining whether child abuse or neglect has occurred. Gathering information through interviews with parents and children. Observing and analyzing the safety of home environments. Gathering collateral information from school personnel, doctors, therapists, and law enforcement officers. Fulfilling documentation requirements and entering info into databases. Arranging medical evaluations and substitute care placement for children. Presenting and testifying in court. This position requires some travel. The duties in this position include work with challenging and at times hostile clients, in sometimes unsafe and unsanitary home environments. Work requires the ability to prioritize work related to child safety and respond quickly to emergent situations. This position will occasionally require working a variety of schedules, including swing shift, evenings, and weekends outside the typical hours of 8 a.mto 5 p.m.How to apply:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
