PAY IS ALL-INCLUSIVE Duties and
Responsibilities:
Not a heavy workload and the provider would see anywhere from five to seven patients daily.
The provider in this position will be responsible for H&Ps, medication management, discharges, and admissions of patients in this in-patient hospital.
Provide General Medical ambulatory care to all patients through the medical clinic.
Round units to see patients who are unable to be brought to the medical clinic due to mental illness or physical limitations that make transportation of the patient difficult.
Provide interpretations of audiograms, EKG's lab and a studies.
Provide telephone consultation in the area of general medicine to other staff physicians.
Work collaboratively with unit psychiatrists on prevention of metabolic syndrome caused by antipsychotic medications and treating metabolic complications.
