Summary:
The Lube Operations Supervisor will oversee warehouse operations for the commercial Lubricants division in Salem OR.
In this role, you will provide daily direction to the warehouse and driver staff to ensure safe and efficient management of our inventory and accurate delivery of product to our customers.
You will also be responsible for preparing and planning strategies to meet the operation's daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
Key
Responsibilities:
Work closely with senior management to ensure operational excellence and the division's achievement of performance goals related to productivity, accuracy, and budget.
Order product from vendors and keep accurate up to date records in Mas90.
Provide customer service by fielding inquiries from customers related to lubricants, to include researching and resolving or forwarding issues to appropriate personnel.
Collaborate with sales staff when developing quotes or processing other paperwork for existing and new customers.
Provide administrative support for lubricants billing, transfers, and receipt of product.
Assist with monitoring and management of lubricant inventories at multiple warehouses, to include:
monitoring of stock in above ground tanks and warehoused packaged products; stock rotation and reordering of product and supplies; and monthly inventories.
Handle order fulfillment, to include:
packaging and preparing products; inspecting products to ensure quality; and filling customer orders in accordance with invoices.
Assist with warehouse operations, to include:
loading, unloading and transferring of stock utilizing lift equipment as well as physically lifting and carrying merchandise.
Foster a safety culture by ensuring safe work practices and holding self and others accountable to follow all safety and environmental procedures.
Participate in staffing, training, and coaching team members.
Utilize operational reports to evaluate department performance, make recommendations and improvements to processes and procedures.
Perform special projects and other tasks as needed.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED and 3 years' experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Valid driver's license required, and forklift certification preferred.
An understanding of and working knowledge of warehouse operations, including use of warehouse equipment and inventory systems and/or procedures.
Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office; specifically, Excel, Word, Outlook and Explorer.
Experience with Mas90 desirable.
Ability to foster communication and teamwork to ensure successful customer outcomes.
Keen attention to detail and a willingness to take ownership and see an issue through to completion.
Ability to demonstrate analytical thinking and successful problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift, lower, push, pull or carry product up to a maximum of 55 lb.
and regularly work near moving equipment in an environment that could include hazardous materials, fluctuating temperatures, high places, and loud noise.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
