Qualifications:
Preferred:
Experience as a histotech, or HT (ASCP) eligible Histo-technician training available! HS Diploma, GED; and 1-3 months related healthcare experience or trade school equivalent Our Lab Technician's must be comfortable in a fast paced environment while adhering to OSHA/CLIA requirements; some duties include processing/embedding tissues, sectioning paraffin-embedded tissue, preparing reagents, solutions, control slides, and special stains.
Accurately assisting with quick accession of cases, labeling, filing, performing routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and other duties as assigned.
Our lab tech's must have the ability to work efficiently with other team members to meet daily processing deadlines, be highly organized, and very detail oriented.
