Responsibilities:
Becoming a Financial Representative means having the independence that it implies, but with extensive support from MassMutual Oregon.
You will build your financial services career by relying on your personal drive, leadership and relationship skills, while delivering personalized solutions to a wide variety of clients.
As a Financial Representative, your journey begins with the foundational skills needed - from acquiring, building and managing client relationships, to humanizing complex financial interactions.
MassMutual Oregon will provide you with an industry leading training program, including structured classes, personalized coaching, and ongoing career development.
Responsibilities in the career include:
Effectively sourcing prospects and utilizing client acquisition techniques.
Consulting with clients on financial strategies based on their financial goals.
Complying with all regulatory requirements, including licensing and registrations.
Meeting production goals as outlined in training programs.
Balancing a multitude of activities, including obtaining referrals, client follow through and administrative tasks.
Expanding your knowledge and skills through ongoing professional development and networking.
Requirements 2
years of successful experience as a sales, business development, insurance, marketing, real estate, accounting, banking or legal professional.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Exemplary communication, presentation, and time-management skills.
Ability to explain complex information in a simple and concise manner.
Networking acumen with the potential to tap into both personal and professional communities.
Entrepreneurial spirit with the desire to learn and specialize in financial services.
Highly motivated and business-minded individual.
Positive attitude and willingness to be held accountable for results.
This is a commission-based role with results-driven compensation and access to a competitive benefits package, including medical and dental, life and disability income insurance, and thrift and pension plans available for qualified Financial Services Professionals.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
