Duties for the General Manager will include allocating budget resources, formulating policies, coordinating business operations, monitoring and motivating staff, managing operational costs, ensuring good customer service, improving administration processes, engaging with vendors, hiring and training employees, identifying business opportunities, and monitoring financial activities.
The General Manager should have entrepreneurial spirit and vision in directing business functions that will assist Willamette DHIA in maintaining relationships with clients, generating new business, improving service, ensuring sustainability and meeting business objectives.
The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, computer skills, broad knowledge of the dairy industry, a strong work ethic, good interpersonal skills and strong leadership qualities.
The General Manager will set strategy, allocate resources, develop and assist managers, oversee operations, enhance Willamette DHIA's image and embrace a productive and rewarding work environment.
The General Manager will work closely and communicate regularly with the Willamette DHIA Board of Directors, the Executive Committee and Board President.
