My client provides property and casualty insurance for school districts, charter schools and community colleges.
They are looking for a Director of Litigation to bring vision and management to the program.
The role will involve management of the insurance program, carrying a partial case load, supervising a team of 6 lawyers, and being apart of the organization's leadership.
This is a work/life opportunity. 1,600-1,650 hours expected
They are looking for:
7
years with trial/court room/civil litigation experience
Oregon bar or waive in
Both private practice and in-house experience a plus
Supervisory and management experience
Insurance
experience
and dealing with risk adjusters
Employment law defense experience
Education law experience a plus
Government employee experience a plus
Candidate will be required to live in Salem or near (50 minutes from Portland).
The job includes a nice benefits package.
The organization operates on consensus and collaboration.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
